This Wilmington NC vending machine route for sale consists of five total vending machines. Four of the machines are located at four different locations in Wilmington NC. There is also a fifth machine that is currently in storage that a new owner could could place at a fifth location. The machines are all Wittern 3566 model combo machines originally purchased in 2017.
The route is currently averaging $291/week over the past 12 months and $364/week over the last month as sales increase coming out of COVID. The current owners spend 5-10 hours per week servicing the route. They typically visit the machines one day a week to refill and collect sales. High margin business with most products being sold around 60-70% margin.
Sales took a hit in the past year and a half with COVID so there is an opportunity for the current locations to grow sales back to pre COVID numbers. For example, average weekly sales for the 4 machines February of 2020 was $550/wk.
Contracts are currently in place at the 4 locations, and 3 of them are paying 10% of net (total monthly sales after the cost of goods and taxes).

WHAT ARE THE DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROUTE OWNER?
The route owner is responsible for servicing their customer base and ensuring that the vending machines are well stocked and maintained for the consumer. Route owners will order, deliver and stock product accordingly. The current owner works 5-10 hours per week depending on sales volume, etc.
GROSS EARNINGS/COMMISSIONS
This route has averaged $291 per week in gross sales over the last twelve months and $364 per week over the last month
OPERATING COSTS
Typical expenses include cost of goods sold (inventory), fuel/gas, storage and vending equipment maintenance. The current owner estimates $160 per week in route operating expenses. Operating costs will vary from owner to owner depending on a variety of factors. This leaves a net cash flow of approximately $150-$200 per week for the route owner
GROWTH POTENTIAL
One machine included in this purchase is not currently in a location. That is an instant growth opportunity. The owner can add new accounts as they see fit. There really is no growth limits for a vending route. If you are motivated and want to find/secure new accounts then you are certainly free to do so. Several accounts would be terrific candidates for an open market which would also drive revenue/ profit higher

SCHEDULE
The route owner simply needs to make sure that their customers are taken care of, inventory is being managed properly, and sales are being maximized. Sales volume varies from week to week and month to month. Most weeks require approximately nine (9) hours of week with flexibility on days/hours.
