The current owner works from the Holiday, FL area and route service takes him 5-8 hours per week. Approximately 80 miles of travel for the week depending on where you are located. The route could easily be serviced in one full day. These accounts have flexible schedules for servicing, typically available from 10am to 10pm, and are open on weekends.

The machines have a variety of manufacturers but most are McGregor. The owner does have placement agreements with all of their locations. The contract states that half of the net proceeds will be paid to the account as their commission. After accounting for expenses the owner typically provides 40% of gross to the account. There are three accounts, two Publix and one Winn Dixie, that are averaging $8,683 in weekly gross sales. The route owner has exclusive distribution rights to bakery products from Arnold, Thomas’, Sara Lee and several other brands.

As noted above the weekly sales average is $8,683 per week. The owner is paid 16-18% commission depending on the product being sold. This generates a weekly gross income of approximately $1,400 per week. Current owner has weekly expenses totaling approximately $140/week ($10 tolls, $40 gas/fuel, $90 insurance/maintenance).
