WHAT ARE THE DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROUTE OWNER?
The route owner is responsible for servicing the account and ensuring that product is well stocked and maintained for the consumer. Route owners will order, deliver and stock product accordingly. There is flexibility in the days and hours as long as the customers are being serviced properly.
The current owner services each account once per week. The hours are relatively flexible with two accounts being accessible 24/7 and one open six days per week. Servicing all four accounts requires approximately 4-5 total hours per week. Additional service trips to the busier accounts would certainly help improve sales volume.

The route averages approximately $830 per week in gross sales
OPERATING COSTS
Typical expenses include inventory, travel costs, payment processing fees/sales tax, insurance, etc. The large majority of expenses are inventory/cost of goods sold. Other costs will vary from owner to owner depending on their travel costs and how they choose to run the business. The current owner estimates roughly $590 in operating costs per week.
The seller has had opportunities to expand to a car dealership and an RV sales and service business but has not had the time or resources to take advantage of those opportunities.
